Pentagon Celebrates Our Assassins Humiliating Pakistan

The secret assassination wars being waged by the US mirrors Israel’s secret assassination wars.   Crossing borders illegally to kill various Muslims in their beds is a big, big, big thing for the US and Israel.  Both think they can ‘win’ this religious crusade by mimicking the ancient ‘Old Man Of The Mountain’ of Medieval fame.  The word ‘assassin’ come from this religious faction of killers nearly a thousand years ago.

.

As the US government works harder and harder at aping this old war tactic, it pays to visit the past to see where it all began:  Assassins – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

.

The origins of the Assassins trace back to just before the First Crusade around 1080….It is, however, unknown how Hassan-i-Sabbah was able to get his “Fida’i” to perform with such fervent loyalty. One theory, possibly the most well known but also the most criticized, comes from the observations from Marco Polo during his travels to the Orient. He describes how the “Old Man of the Mountain” (Sabbah) would drug his young followers with hashish, lead them to a “paradise”, and then claim that only he had the means to allow for their return. Perceiving that Sabbah was either a prophet or some kind of magic man, his disciples, believing that only he could return them to “paradise”, were fully committed to his cause and willing to carry out his every request.[4] With his new weapons, Sabbah began to order multiple assassinations, ranging from politicians to great generals.

.

In ancient Rome, many a government change at the very top was via assassination beginning with that most famous assassination by the Senate, the killing of Julius Caesar.  14 Roman emperors were assassinated by their own Praetorian Guards.  This usually was done for financial reasons, that is, the guards were bribed to do this.  13 Roman emperors were put on trial and then executed.  From the very start of ancient Rome, they made a big thing about ‘justice’ compared to ancient Athens which was all about ‘democracy’ before going down in flames.

.

The Romans tried very hard to create the concept of the citizen/soldier being the basis of judicial laws except this collapsed rapidly due to the ease at which the good old ‘Might Makes Right’ type of thinking led the Romans down the path of violence, venality and theft.  The ancient Roman sense of law and order broke down and Europe fell into the Dark Ages of chaos and tribal/ethnic/religious warfare which raged off and on over the centuries down to modern times.

.

That is, the replacement for Roman law was hereditary enforcement of tribal treaties via marriage punctuated by outright military conquests.  The writing of treaties was a slow process that grew over time until it became normal for European crowns who were all related to each other quite closely, would mainly use treaties coupled with marriages to enforce cross-border laws.  The Church, of course, mediated all of this, both the marriages and the treaties especially since, before 1400, most of the only literate people in all of Europe were in the Church (with the significant exception of the Jews who were quite literate!).

.

One thing the various relatives in the mega-complex of ruling elites of Europe decided early on was to not assassinate each other.  This was declared ‘unchivalrous’ and anyone resorting to this was given the cold shoulder or related members of the assassinated victim would band together and invade and crush the person bankrolling the assassins.

.

One very famous assassination done by a king was Thomas Becket, the archbishop of Canterbury.  The king paid some stiff penalties for drunkenly saying, ‘Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?’  That is all it took!  Society recoiled from this and the king lost a lot of allies and this led to his miserable final years as the ruler of England and half of France.

.

Henry the VIII destroyed the popular shrine to Archbishop Becket.  This is when the Church, regulating marriage contracts, refused to let the King dump his Spanish wife.  Soon after declaring himself the head of a new religion, he then went on a rampage, killing one wife after another.  Yuck.  Made this legal, too!  Yuck, a huge yuck.  Awful man.

.

Well, the US has decided that Might Makes Right all the time and is now in a despotic hell of our own making as wars blossom and expand while Nobel Peace Prize winner, Obama, is all on board with this noxious slide into illegal international crimes:  The illegal war in Libya – Libya – Greenwald  Salon.com

.

Section 1541(c) (of the War Powers Resolution passed during the secret war against Cambodia!) explicitly states that the war-making rights conferred by the statute apply only to “a national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces.”  That’s why Yale Law Professor Bruce Ackerman — in an article in Foreign Policy entitled “Obama’s Unconstitutional War” – wrote when the war started that the “The War Powers Resolution doesn’t authorize a single day of Libyan bombing” and that “in taking the country into a war with Libya, Barack Obama’s administration is breaking new ground in its construction of an imperial presidency.”

.

This is what happens when our government is hijacked by a foreign power.  That is, Israel.  The neocons that populate our systems are all Zionists, every last one of them.  It doesn’t matter what ethnic background they are, they work for Israel and their goal is furtherance of Zionist goals in the world and therefore, they are traitors to our nation which was not founded in order to fight religious wars.

.

On the contrary, it is extremely explicit that even slave owners in the South didn’t approve of religious wars!  Far from it, it was the #1 thing they feared.  Many Americans at that time came from dissident families in Europe fleeing religious persecution.  They all knew of the Reformation/Catholic wars that raged across Europe for decades from 1500-1700 and wanted nothing to do with this.  Even though there was rampant religious bigotry and viciousness in the US, the Constitution was the very first document in the world to state quite baldly that there was to be a total separation of Church and State.

.

Which is one thing I wish all countries could enshrine, too, especially our own.  Bit by bit, religious bigots and vicious religious crusaders have sought to destroy the legal wall separating religion and state.  The many wars we are waging virtually only against states Israel wants us to invade, is a religious war which Islamic radicals quite cheerfully join in, they want this as badly as the Zionists.

.

Each year, US power slips away.  Each year, our financial situation grows more and more dire as the Pentagon sucks down trillions of dollars fighting a potential army of half a billion angry Muslims.  This futile exercise is killing our nation.  Why on earth are we doing this?  Why are Americans being lured into these endless religious wars?
